An introduction to creating fun Mandalas with Dots
Service Description
Creating Mandalas has long been associated with Spiritual health and wellbeing. It is a meditative practice and very personal. Dot painting has a long history in many different cultures from European to Indigenous Australian, and in a range of media, including cave painting, house painting and even Easter Eggs and cakes. In this Workshop, Children will learn some maths skills for dividing the Circle into even spaces for Symetrical Design, as well as basic Dot Painting, using various sized implements to create smooth dots that then can be feathered and layered into a wide range of unique designs. Learners will also extend their skills in following printed and written instructions, communication and sense of self, as they explore their own imagination and creativity. Max 33 Artists
